The County of Santa Cruz forwarded a draft 6^th Cycle Housing Element to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for a 90-day review period. This review started on Tuesday, July 25 and ends on Monday, October 23, 2023. Below you can access the Housing Element directly as either a “complete document” or by sections. In the interim, you can email your comments to staff at 2023HousingElement@santacruzcountyca.gov or use the yellow button below to submit comments directly. Additional comment opportunities will be available during upcoming public hearings this fall, which are listed on the Get Involved page of the Housing Element website.
