A Week Without Driving
Ready for a Challenge that Benefits You and the Planet?
This September, Santa Cruz County is inviting residents to participate in our first-ever Week Without Driving — a week-long challenge to explore alternative ways of getting around. Whether you walk, bike, take public transit, carpool, or try a scooter, this event is about experiencing how small changes in your daily transportation choices can have a big impact on your health, your community, and the environment.
Why Participate?

- ✔ Saving Money: Skip gas and parking meters.
