Santa Cruz County has launched a new RHNA Housing Production webpage to track progress toward meeting its Regional Housing Need Allocation (RHNA) and help the community understand how the County is progressing toward its housing goals.

Free composting workshops are available to all Santa Cruz County residents, covering backyard composting and vermicomposting techniques. Basic and Advanced Composting workshops are offered throughout 2026-27, with both virtual and in-person options available. Sign up online!
